Ups and downs in the halfpipe

Kevin Pearce is one of the main contenders for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games halfpipe event. His rivalry with snowboard phenomenon Shaun White drives them both to push the limits of what is humanly possible in the halfpipe. It's a hazardous business and during a trial run Kevin is badly hurt. When Shaun stands on top of the podium in Vancouver, Kevin has just started his recovery from a severe brain injury. Even though another hit to the head could be fatal, Kevin is fiercely determined to compete again, and his family fears a new accident.
