The growth of the 21st century Russia

Sasha has recently left the big city to live what he imagined to be a more simple and happier life in rural Russia. He has bought a farm and met a woman who he wants to build a life with, and for a while everything seems perfect. But when the state starts expropriating land from local farmers without considering what this does to the community, Sasha sides with the locals in their fight to preserve their traditional way of life. A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE is a decidedly Russian drama about money, corruption and tradition.
