Tuesday 26 September

18:00 Official opening of BIFF with a screening of THE SQUARE, KP1 Bergen Kino

Opening party after the film with director Ruben Östlund and producer Erik Hemmendorf present at KODE1.

Wednesday 27 September

20:00 Norwegian music videos in competition, Røkeriet USF

BIFF and Vill Vill Vest invites you to celebrate Norwegian music videos! The event is hosted by Yoda Neida, and there will also be live music by Bergen based Misty Coast and DJs.

Thursday 28 September

17:00–18:00 Meet the real superheroes, Vaskeriet

The human rights programme Checkpoints during BIFF deals with issues from around the world and the extraordinary people who works with this. Meet three of these modern heroes:

16:30 Documentary seminar, Cinemateket and Sardinen USF

This year's theme is investigative journalism and the role of documentary in a post-fact society. With screenings of – FIGHTING AGAINST AMERICANS WAS EASIER and ALL GOVERNMENTS LIE with directors present and talks after the screenings.

20:30 Centerpiece: HVA VIL FOLK SI, KP1 Bergen Kino
