Marc Webb is an American director who started his career as a postproduction assistant on Doug Prays documentary HYPE! (1996). Since then, he has made a career as a director of both music videos and short films. Through the course of his career, Webb has directed more than a hundred videos for artists such as Santana, Anastacia, Backstreet Boys, Green Day, Weezer, Nelly, Maroon 5, My Chemical Romance, Nelly, Hot Hot Heat and Regina Spektor. 500 DAYS OF SUMMER is his first feature film.
