The dark side of the US food industry is revealed in a stunning documentary
Through the industrialization of all aspects of food production the food industry has distanced itself from nature. The result is unhealthy food and higher risks of diseases, as well as the gathering of a lot of money and power in the hands of a few gigantic cooperations. Guided by the writers of “Fast Food Nation” and “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” and some independent farmers, FOOD INC. shows the monopolisation of Monsanto and the shady circumstances under which chickens are bred.
