MOUNTAIN is a film about humanity's age-old fascination with mountains – as sources of myth, as national and religious symbols or as destinations for expeditions and extreme sports. Working with high-altitude cinematographer Renan Ozturk, director Jennifer Peedom has recorded thousands of hours of stunning footage from 15 different countries and edited it all down to a majestic 70 minute film which can best be described as a meditative adrenaline rush. This is a documentary which demands to be seen in the cinema.
