Moto vs. boto: Ethics and animal welfare in the Amazon

Fernando Trujillo is an expert on the pink dolphins who live in the Amazon river. Richard Rasmussen is the larger-than-life host of a popular show on the National Geographic Channel. These two men are the main characters in Mark Grieco's film about animal preservation in the Amazon, which asks how far animal rights activists can go in their struggle to stop people from killing endangered species. A spiritual successor to Louie Psihoyos' THE COVE, A RIVER BELOW is a thought-provoking and upsetting documentary.
