Jack and Ennis fall in love while herding sheep in the summer of 1963. Although the years pass and they both marry, neither of them is able to forget the days they spent together on Brokeback Mountain. The winner of this year's Venice Golden Lion is adapted from a short story by E. Annie Proulx. Shot with the rugged Wyoming landscape as a backdrop, the result is a beautiful and poignant love story.
