OFF BEAT follows Crash, an ambulance driver and paramedic whose subconscious mind is obsessed with the car accident that left him orphaned and scarred across the middle of his face. Crash is an empathetic loner whose own sense of loss drives him, often frantically, to help others. Through continuous flashbacks of the accident and post-op trauma, Crash is portrayed as a wounded seal stuck in a cul-de-sac. Only a dream of a mysterious woman bares any hope.
