A former Liverpool star is brought to a small Swedish town to save their 6th division football team

Described as a Swedish THE FULL MONTY, OFFSIDE takes place in a small town called Stenfors. The local football team is struggling to stay in 6th division. They think they've solved their problem when former Liverpool star Duncan Miller agrees to join the team, but soon realise that he's an alcoholic who hasn't kicked a ball in years... OFFSIDE is a formulaic comedy in the best possible way – genuinely funny, intelligent, and populated by fully developed, lovable characters. A great film about football – and more.
