To Tulsa and Back: On Tour With J.J. Cale
TO TULSA AND BACK: ON TOUR WITH J.J. CALE follows the guitar legend J.J. Cale on tour after his recent 13th album. J.J. Cale is the man credited with inventing the influential "Tulsa sound": The laidback, smooth guitar style that became so important in the careers of musicians like Bryan Ferry, Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler. The film draws a sympathetic portrait of this enigmatic and laidback musician, a man who is not too keen on stardom and jet set, and who prefers fishing to autograph-signing.
