The Dog Problem
Solo is a lonely, aimless writer who feels like he can't catch a break. He's got writer's block, money problems, and now he can't even pay for therapy. The only answer he finds is to get a dog. But that's just the start of his problems...
This is the outset for this charming, off-beat comedy about people who can't quite relate to the world around them – no matter how hard they try. Giovanni Ribisi heads the cast of humorous misfits, turning a seemingly one-dimensional role into something special.
Scott Caan (1976) is the eldest son of legendary actor James Caan (THE GODFATHER). So far most of his experience lies in acting, both in independent and mainstream Hollywood. Much like his father, he is mostly known for playing tough guys, like his characters in OCEAN'S 11, BOILER ROOM and GONE IN 60 SECONDS. THE DOG PROBLEM and his directorial debut DALLAS 362 (2003) are clear indications that he wishes to take a long step out of his father's shadow.
