Writing about supernatural phenomena without really believing in them, Mike Enslin may have to change his mind as he investigates room 1408 in a New York hotel for his new book. According to the hotel’s manager, "It’s an evil fucking room." Unlike a lot of other Stephen King adaptations, 1408 manages to bring the best in his writing out onto the silver screen. With its interesting camera angles and great background music, 1408 makes for a chilling cinema experience.
