Bigger Stronger Faster
In BIGGER STRONGER FASTER director Chris Bell journeys into the world of weightlifting, body building and anabolic steroids. The film looks at the central place of steroids in American sports and entertainment industry, with special focus on the cliché masculinity that came to symbolize America during the Reagan-era. With a humorous and nuanced approach, Bell asks the unpleasant and decidedly politically incorrect question more and more people are asking themselves: Are steroids really all that bad?
Chris Bell is a former bodybuilder and weightlifter who has written for TV and directed the short film BILLY JONES (2000). BIGGER STRONGER FASTER is his first feature length film.
