This wonderful Italian comedy was a pleasant surprise at the Venice Film Festival in September. The director says: "As an only child of a widow, I had to live for many years alone with my mother, a woman with an overwhelming personality, surrounded by a world of her own. My wife and daughters had disappeared out of their instinct for survival. However exhausted, I met and lived the richness, the energy and the power of the world of the elderly."
