French-born Irena Salina started her career in radio at the age of 15. Later she went on to work in production on numerous American films. Her first film, GHOST BIRD: THE LIFE AND ART OF JUDITH DEIM (2000), was a fascinating portrait of the American painter Judith Deim. FLOW: FOR LOVE OF WATER is her second film.
