Guest of Cindy Sherman
Cindy Sherman is one of the world's most famous and recognizable contemporary artists. Her series of "Untitled Film Stills", where she inserts herself into what seems to be still images from old, forgotten movies, features some of the most iconic imagery produced in the eighties and nineties. GUEST OF CINDY SHERMAN is the story of the somewhat less successful Paul Hasegawa-Overacker and his less than successful relationship with Sherman. As well as being a film about the two artists and their relationship, it's also a film that's remarkably frank in its portrayal of interpersonal relationships in the art world.
