Meet Acrassicauda, the only heavy metal band in Baghdad

HEAVY METAL IN BAGHDAD follows the Iraqi heavy metal band Acrassicauda from the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003, to 2007. Life as a heavy metal musician in Iraq was never easy, but with the change of regime, the band sees a possibility for real freedom. In addition to being a story about individual dreams and struggles in a nation plagued by almost constant upheaval, HEAVY METAL IN BAGHDAD also presents a fresh perspective on the situation in Iraq as seen by the people who live there.
