S&M: SHORT AND MALE is a glimpse into the life and frustrations of vertically challenged men. What starts out as a humorous look at the plight of the short statured man gradually develops into a more nuanced look at the downside of modern society's obsession with image and appearance. The film follows several short men from different countries and all walks of life who've all been discriminated because of their height. None of them have any doubt whatsoever: Size does matter.
