In the Arms of My Enemy
Somewhere in Eastern Europe, Jakub and his younger brother, Vladimir, are cold and hungry. Hoping for a better life, they join the Cossacks. Suffering through the violent and painful initiations, they are awarded swords and horses. Meanwhile, another pair of brothers, Roman and Elias, have found a different solution to the same problem: They steal horses. When the four of them meet, bloodshed ensues.
With its beautiful imagery and music, and an impeccable cast, this film is a rather unique experience.
