Indigenous Ecouadorians sue Chevron for having ruined their lives with reckless oil spillage

In the Ecuadorian Amazon animals have disappeared, the water smells like oil and people are dying of cancer. Local idealists collaborate with American resources in a surge to make Chevron accountable for the heavy pollution of Texaco, which Chevron now owns. Their efforts result in international attention and the harmed areas get a visit from newly elected leftist president Rafael Correa. Although CRUDE is well balanced and all parts get their say, the shocking images of oil-drenched rain forest reveal blatant human rights violations.
