A family of musicians live through music in a film that beatifully conveys their talents

On a farm in the Holland a father teaches his five highly musical children how to sing opera. As a single parent, his mission in life is to make them as passionate about opera as he is himself. In THE FAMILY ENSEMBLE we meet five strong voices with a broad repertoire, handling different musical instruments. We encounter this unique family in their trials of life. The intimate cinematic style shows their private life, growing up and parenting, with music always being central. Tentions rise as an audition in Vienna draws closer.
