Jennifer is the high-school’s resident evil diva. She’s the captain of the cheerleading squad, all the girls want to be her friend, and all the boys want to sleep with her. A rock band decides to sacrifice her to Satan to increase the chances of getting a record deal, but instead of dying, she is possessed by a bloodthirsty demon. Her admirers soon start dying, and Jennifer’s childhood friend Anita the nerd is the only one who realizes Jennifer has gone from “evil” to evil.
Karyn Kusama is an American director best known for making films with strong female lead characters. Her debut film GIRL FIGHT (2000) won the grand jury prize at Sundance in 2000, and she followed up with the live action adaptation of the popular animated series AEON FLUX in 2005. She has also worked on TV-series "The L Word". JENNIFER'S BODY is her third feature film.
