Two young lovers, both junkies and street prostitutes in Glasgow, meet again after many years. They have shared a dark secret since their childhood and have to keep together to survive. WASTED is an uncompromising tale of two people dependant on each other for hope and survival. The film is shot on one location, an old factory, and real-life junkies and homeless people are part of the crew. The movie is beautifully shot with handhold camera and the directors have managed to create an unflinching and autentic film about these lives on the ringes of society.
