Meet Omar, Waj, Faisal, Hassan and Barry. Apart they are no different from your average well-adjusted British muslim, but together they form the most hard-hitting and fundamentalistic of all the terrorist cells – in Sheffield. Legendary comedy writer and director Chris Morris makes his feature film debut with a hilarious satire about fundamentalism that manages to balance slapstic with a surprisingly nuanced take on a highly flammable subject.
Chris Morris is a comedian, director, screenwriter and actor, who is widely recognized as one of the driving forces of British comedy during the 90's. As the man behind such seminal shows as "Brass Eye" and "The Day Today", Morris was, among other things, responsible for making Steve Coogan a household name. During the 00's, Morris has been less visible, but his bizarre avant garde comedy series "Jam" stil stands as the weirdest thing ever presented on a British channel. Morris is currently working on "The IT Crowd", but has never the less been able to direct FOUR LIONS, his first feature film.
