The Genius and the Boys
GENIUS AND THE BOYS tells the story of Daniel Carleton Gajdusek, the brilliant scientist who in 1976 became the recipient of the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine. Gajdusek was a scientific genius of the rarest caliber, and like many such geniuses, he displayed quite a bit of eccentric behaviour. Initially, he was merely surrounded by rumours about his somewhat odd relationship with his many adopted children. But as time went on, he was frequently called out on allegations of pedophilia.
