The way one sees a building differs from person to person, as does the way people use them. The thought behind the urban movement of parkour is that although you can not physically change a building, you can create new perspectives on how you see and utilize it. A group of Danish parkours and freerunners hope to build a specially designed parkour park in Copenhagen, but does using a fixed environment contradict the idea of thinking outside the box?
Kaspar Astrup Schröder
Born 1979, Denmark. Self-taught visual artist and designer. Founded the company, Kaspar in 2004, sometimes taking the name KSPR or Kasparworks. Though based in Copenhagen, he often works in Asia. Has exhibited visual work and released music in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Bruxelles, New York and Tokyo. In 2007 he directed the parkour movie CITY SURFERS.
