Richard Garriott is a successful computer games programmer and entrepeneur. He also happens to be the son of Owen K. Garriott, the astronaut who in 1973 set the record for the longest stay in space. Growing up, Richard always dreamt about following in his father's footsteps, but due to poor sight, he knew that the chancees of NASA sponsoring his trip were slim. MAN ON THE MISSION tells the story of how Garriott managed to make his way into space with only the help of his own wallet.

Mike Woolf

American Mike Woolf started his career as a writer for a advertising company, but quit his job in 2001 to pursue his hobby - documentary filmmaking. He realized his dream by directing and producing different short docomentaries, before Woolf premiered his first feature documentary in 2010, RICHARD GARRIOT: MAN ON A MISSION.
