Don't be afraid
Silvia is a timid woman in her mid twenties, who is forced by circumstance to examine the causes of her distant, somnambulistic way of relating to the world. Joining the protagonist on her journey into the murky forest of fuzzy childhood memories, the audience discovers that the root of Silvia's problems lies with her unhealthy relationship with her father. Through the use of a subdued and restrained cinematic language, Montxo Armendáriz crafts a claustrophobic and engaging drama about incest and sexual abuse.
