SENNA is the story of Ayrton Senna, Brazilian national icon and one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time. From the moment he stepped onto the international motor racing stage in the mid 80s until his untimely and tragic death in 1994, Senna lived a life like no other. Upon his death, the Brazilian government declared three days of national mourning, and it is estimated that three million people showed up in his hometown Sao Paolo to pay him their last respects at the day of his funeral. This visually engaging documentary attempts to show why.
