Hidden meanings in Stanley Kubrick's horror classic The Shining.

ROOM 237 is a documentary about the many theories and speculation surrounding the claimed hidden meanings of Stanley Kubrick's THE SHINING (1980). Five very different points of view are illuminated through voice-over, film clips, animation and dramatic reenactments. Together they'll draw the audience into a new maze, one with endless detours and dead ends, many ways in, but no way out. No fan of THE SHINING should miss out on this one.

RODNEY ASCHER is an American director, cinematographer and producer. Before ROOM 237 he directed several short films, as well as several episodes of the 2007 comedy show «THE VERY FUNNY SHOW». ROOM 237 is his first feature length documentary.
