The Weight of Elephants
Adrian is an eleven year old loner who lives with his strict grandmother and manic depressive uncle in a calm New Zealand suburb. When a new family moves into the house next door, Adrian's playful imagination leads him to believe that he has solved the mystery of the three abducted children that everybody talks about on the news. Based on the novel "Of A Boy" by Sonya Hartnett, THE WEIGHT OF ELEPHANTS is a visually striking film about friendship, loneliness, and the blurred lines between reality and imagination.
