A village's fight to survive

In the village of Niaqornat, Greenland, home to roughly 59 inhabitants, there's an increasing shortage of work, fish, polar bears and women. Depopulation, depression and suicide, however, are on the rise all over Greenland. VILLAGE AT THE END OF THE WORLD tells the story of how Niaqornat's population fights to survive in a cruel and unforgiving environment, in a globalized, interconnected and ever more cost effective world. As an outside observer, one both questions and admires their persistence.
