The Last Witness
The Pelle group carried out some of the most dangerous sabotage operations during the German occupation of Norway. But because of their communist convictions, the group members were monitored by the state, met by an occupational ban and erased from the history books after the war. The few members of the Pelle group that are still alive now seek an apology that is long overdue, and by staging a fictitious trial, directors Øystein Rakkenes and Morten Conradi allow them the opportunity to tell their stories.
