Having witnessed a thoroughly corrupt police force in his youth, Bruce Robertson is now an Edinburgh cop himself. You might think he joined the force to fight the corruption from the inside, but Bruce's motivation was quite simply that he wanted in on the action himself. In FILTH we join this bipolar, bigoted junkie cop as he manipulates and hallucinates his way through the streets of Edinburgh in a bid to secure a promotion and win back his wife and daughter. Based on a novel by Irvine Welsh this dark and twisted comedy is filled to the brim with the author's patentedly, jolting misanthropy.
