Seeds of Time
What happens when the hyper-commercial agriculture of today meets the challenges of tomorrow? Global warming, insects and bacteria seem to be lining up to destroy the agriculture we depend on for our food. In SEEDS OF TIME we follow Cary Fowler's quest to gather and safely store all of the world's crop diversity in an arctic seed bank. The documentary argues why we should be more concerned about the food our modern society takes for granted, and offers a glimpse of the personal sacrifices such work for the common good demands.
