This innovative documentary is a funny, intimate and disquieting look at the 2013 presidential election campaign in a Chile which was surrounded by social turmoil. A host of fixed cameras in the midst of the action make you feel at the centre of it all, and at the same time one can't help feeling alienated from the political propaganda which despite ideological differences dominates the rhetoric of all the candidates. Original and stylistically innovative, PROPAGANDA is an entertaining and worrying political documentary.
Meet director Christopher Murray at all screenings during the festival, and at a debate about the film on Monday September 29. at Chagall.
PROPAGANDA is directed by a collective of sixteen young Chileans from the group MAFI - Mapa fílmico de un país (filmic map of a country), led by Christopher Murray
