Ballerinos with high ambitions
14-year-olds Lukas, Syvert and Torgeir are like most teenagers, except for their somewhat unusual dream: They want to be ballet dancers - preferably among the world's greatest. As they face their first international competitions in France and Sweden, they also have to deal with their parents' and teachers' expectations of good results in school. BALLET BOYS takes you through four years of the boys' lives, as they face disappointment, victories, doubt, faith, growing apart from each other and finding their own way in life.
A Q&A session with director Kenneth Elvebakk will be held at the screening September 24.
