When straight Andreas and androgynous Sebastian meet by chance in a park one summer night, it marks the beginning of a relationship that will force both of them to confront their understanding of themselves head on. The main point of contention is Sebastian’s alter ego Ellie, whom Andreas both loves and fears. As Sebastian realizes that he has to free himself from other people’s ideas about who he is and who he ought to be, NÅNTING MÅSTE GÅ SÖNDER heads fearlessly into territory where few, if any, mainstream movies has ever gone before.
Meet director Ester Martin Bergsmark and author Eli Levén at all screenings during the festival.
