In an eternally gray and bleak small town in Finland, 20 year old Markus dreams of going to New York to make it as a streetball player. His dreams may not be particularly realistic, but that doesn't make them any less necessary. Stuck between a childhood that's forever lost and an adult life that refuses to manifest itself, Markus has no other choice than to dream his way out. While he waits for his big break, he gets into trouble with both the police and the local gangster Murikka. Built around a remarkable performance from lead actor Mikko Neuvonen, KORSO is Finnish social realism at its best.
