In a highly stylized black-and-white Helsinki, 14-year-old Simo has been tasked with keeping his eye on his older brother Ilkka, who has one more weekend as a free man before he is due to start serving his prison sentence. The boys' mother is worried that Ilkka might do something drastic, and thus she instructs her youngest to look after him. However, this proves to be easier said than done as the boys embark on a weekend of adventure and personal discovery. Poetic and dream-like, CONCRETE NIGHT wraps a decidedly Finnish drama in a unique visual experience.
