Things People Do
By all appearances, Bill Scanlin has made it in life. He has a good job in insurance, a beautiful wife, two lovely children and a comfortable home in one of Albuquerque's well-to-do suburbs. But what his family doesn't know is that Bill has been fired from his job, and in order to keep up the payments on his perfect life, he has turned to a second career as a bank robber. The directorial debut of Academy Award-nominated editor Saar Klein, THINGS PEOPLE DO questions the established values of capitalist America by way of a decidedly disillusioned moral tale.
Meet director Saar Klein at the screening September 24.
