The small Danish town of Lynge is home to a Red Cross school where refugee children from all over the world are brought together as their asylum applications are being processed. The vast majority of them have been on the run for years, having lived in several different countries. Will they be granted residency in Denmark, or will they be sent back to where they came from? AT HOME IN THE WORLD gives us a glimpse into the challenging everyday life of five kids who've gotten an exceptionally rough start in life.
