Fire Will Come
When Amador returns to his home village in the Galician mountains after serving a two-year prison sentence for arson, the locals greet him with a mix of skepticism and indifference. Moving in with his elderly mother and her three cows, life settles into a mundane routine – until the night another disastrous fire erupts and threatens to lay waste to the community. Featuring beautifully textured cinematography and a tense atmosphere of unease, FIRE WILL COME is a subtle slow-burn drama from the director of MIMOSAS (BIFF 2016).
