Starting out as a film about young Chileans hanging out at Santiago’s oldest skatepark, LOS REYES gradually morphed into the story of stray dogs Chola and Football. With the four-legged friends serving as the film’s main characters, directors Bettina Perut and Iván Osnovikoff delve into the lives of the young skaters and a city filled with stories. This beautifully shot and irresistibly charming documentary is the missing link between festival favourite MINDING THE CAMP and Disney’s THE LADY AND THE TRAMP.
