The Last Catch
Few species of fish are as sought-after as tuna, and in a globalized world, this results in both ludicrous prices and an ecologically non-sustainable overfishing. In THE LAST CATCH we are treated to a bleak view of the situation. The tuna stock is in danger of total collapse, the ramifications of which are incalculable. Yet, fishermen all over the world go after the spawning fish, in order to service their debts. The situation is near a point of crisis, but in a so profitable business, no one is willing to back down.
