Nature's warriors - the origins of Greenpeace

In 1971 a group of hippie journalists, photographers, musicians, scientists and draft dodgers set out in an old fishing boat called Greenpeace to stop the US nuclear bomb tests in Alaska. Armed only with cameras and good intentions they had to turn back meeting the coast guard, and the test went ahead as scheduled. However, their actions would go on to inspire what would eventually become a worldwide movement dedicated to preserving mother nature and all who reside therein. Jerry Rothwell has made an informative and inspiring film about some of the true pioneers of the environmentalist movement.
