The aftershock of sexual assault

When 28 year old Paulina decides to leave her promising career as a lawyer in order to become a teacher in an underprivileged region in Northern Argentina, her father and boyfriend struggle to accept her decision. And when she decides to continue teaching after being raped by a group of her students, none of her friends and family can understand her reasoning. Examining the motives and reactions of the young rapists alongside the deeply rooted convictions of its main character, PAULINA is a harsh, unsentimental and at times unpleasant drama about a head-on collision between ideological principles and human nature.
