THE 50 YEAR ARGUMENT tells the history of the New York Review of Books. Since its inception in 1963, the magazine has turned heads and forged a new path for both literary criticism and writing on culture, economics, science and current affairs. In 2013 the magazine celebrated the 50th anniversary of first edition, and this is where directors Martin Scorsese and David Tedeschi start their historical journey, giving us a look behind the scenes of a provocative, critical and critically acclaimed publication.
