A Finnish featherweight boxer with butterflies in his stomach

Easily one of the year's most charming movies, THE HAPPIEST DAY IN THE LIFE OF OLLI MÄKI transports its audience back to 1960's Finland, where baker and amateur boxer Olli Mäki is preparing to fight the American world featherweight champion. To be able to qualify for the match, however, Mäki needs to lose several pounds – a task which is made all the more difficult by the fact that the young boxer has fallen head over heels in love and is having a hard time focusing on anything other than his beloved Raija.
